Schedule and No-Show Guard
Protect chair time by spotting risky appointments and prioritizing confirmation effort.
5 min read
The schedule view shows the day across providers and chairs, highlighting risk and gaps. No-Show Guard scores upcoming appointments based on history so the team focuses confirmation effort where it matters most.
How No-Show Guard scores
- Past attendance pattern for the patient.
- Lead time between booking and the appointment.
- Recent reschedules or cancellations.
- Appointment type and duration.
Scores are guidance, not predictions of certainty. Staff decide how to act: extra confirmation, a reminder call, or moving a more reliable patient up the waitlist.
Filling gaps
When a gap appears, the schedule surfaces eligible recall and waitlist patients for the same chair, provider, and duration. Staff choose who to contact — ChairNav drafts the outreach, but does not send it without approval and a configured sending integration.
