Automations
Create rules that prepare drafts, queue tasks, and surface review items — never patient-facing actions on their own.

Automations let the practice define safe operational rules: when X happens, prepare Y for staff to review. Automations create tasks, drafts, and review items. They do not contact patients or submit claims on their own.
What automations can do
- Create a task or follow-up.
- Draft a message or recall outreach for review.
- Queue an item into a staff review list.
- Assign work to a role or specific user.
What automations cannot do
- Send a patient message without staff approval and a configured sending integration.
- Submit a claim to a payer.
- Modify clinical records.
- Bypass the staff approval requirement for clinical or urgent triggers.
