Review AI message drafts safely
How to triage inbound messages, generate a reply draft, and approve or reject before anything is sent.
Last updated May 15, 2026
AI helps classify and draft, but every patient-facing reply is reviewed by a real person. ChairNav never sends messages on its own.
Triage an inbound message
- Open the message in the inbox and choose Triage with AI, or use Triage inbox to batch the visible inbound messages.
- Apply the suggested category and urgency only if you agree — staff can override or dismiss.
- If the message is urgent or clinical, escalate to clinical staff before drafting a reply.
Generate a reply draft
- Open the message detail and choose Draft reply with AI.
- Edit the draft. Replace anything you would not say in your own voice.
- Choose Approve when you are satisfied. The draft is recorded as approved but is not auto-sent.
- Send through your existing email or SMS tool, then mark the message handled.
