How the Daily Brief decides what to show

How the morning brief works, what it shows, and why it only ever surfaces real records from your practice.

Last updated May 15, 2026

The Daily Brief reads only the appointments, messages, and recall opportunities that are actually in your workspace today. It does not generate examples to make the screen feel busy.

What appears in the brief

  • Unconfirmed appointments for today, with the patient and provider.
  • Open chair time and the schedule's risk signals.
  • Inbound messages that need a person, especially anything flagged urgent.
  • Recall opportunities due today or overdue.

About the AI summary

When you ask for an AI summary of the brief, ChairNav sends only the operational rows you can already see to the AI Gateway. The summary is stored as an output you can review, edit, or reject. It never overwrites the underlying data.
