Use no-show risk labels

How risk labels help the team prioritize calls without overriding judgment.

Last updated May 15, 2026

  • Low — no operational reason to expect a no-show; routine confirmation only.
  • Medium — recent unconfirmed status or one prior cancellation; confirm earlier in the day.
  • High — multiple recent cancellations or unreachable patient; consider a backup plan.

Labels are suggestions. Staff can override at any time, and the override is recorded with a reason for the next person who looks at the appointment.
