Why is a screen empty?

Empty screens in ChairNav are intentional. Here is how to tell whether you need to import, filter, or wait.

ChairNav never invents rows to make a screen feel busy. If a screen is empty, one of three things is true.

  • There is genuinely nothing to act on right now (e.g. no unconfirmed patients) — the empty state will say so.
  • Filters are excluding the rows you expect — clear filters and check date ranges.
  • The practice data has not been imported yet — open Settings → Imports to bring in practice data, or load starter workspace examples to explore the layout.
